I look after another little girl during the week. Sadly she missed a few weeks earlier this month as she was sick, REALLY sick (spent 4 days in hospital due to dehydration), and then my two were sick as well. The all had Adenovirus. This virus caused much havoc in our babies intestinal tracts causing many days of throwing up and diarrhea. This was our first time dealing with something like this and it is very scary as a parent to not be able to do anything to make them feel better. My two managed to keep down enough liquid (gatorade and water mixed half and half) between throwing up, that they never reach the point of needing medical intervention. It was still a very scary (and messy) few days. Then to top it off my Mother had a kidney stone blasted, and came to stay. After a week of playing nurse I was more than ready to just be "mommy" again. This week the third member of our trio came back to play . They all had fun getting reacquainted after a few weeks away from each other. The pictures are from a few months ago. All 3 of them have grown up a lot since then. I need to remember to snap some more recent photos.
